In 2005 Fertivida was located in the facilities of the women’s clinic, and in 2014 they decided to change their infrastructure to Carrera 19 a No 82 – 85 Country Medical Center Building. This center was built on plans for this specific purpose, which allows greater control of the variables that intervene in the results. It has a physical plant of 222 m2, has 3 procedure rooms, two medical offices, andrology, embryology, sperm and gamete bank fully equipped with 52 high-tech biomedical equipment, equipment area with positive pressure system for the in vitro fertilization laboratory. A procedure room enabled for grade 2 sedation, a recovery room for two patients endorsed with the room standards Resolution 3100 of 2019, Resolution 4445 of 1996 and INVIMA Decree 1546 of 1998 and Resolution 3199 of 1998 requirements. It also has an expansion area of 22 m2. The Fertivida Fertility Unit was established on March 11, 2013 (formerly the Women’s Clinical Fertility Unit since August 3, 2005). With the purpose of taking life to another level, and to achieve this, it offers maximum science within everyone’s reach, and thus make dreams of establishing families come true.
